Advisers and AFSLs love us!
Planimate have entirely reimagined advice delivery. These are not pre-recorded presentations—they are genuine advice documents translated into a visual format. The results? Every client watches them. Why? Because they're accessible anywhere, explain complex strategies visually, and don't require blocking out an afternoon to understand. Most importantly? They're fully compliant while being genuinely helpful to clients. I'm not affiliated with Planimate, but I'm excited to see real innovation solving one of our profession's most significant pain points. If we're serious about making advice more accessible, shouldn't we start by making it more digestible?

I first heard about video SOA’s at various conferences and from our compliance team but had not actually spoken to anyone who was using them at the coal face with clients. I must admit that initially I was very sceptical, having used the typical 30-50 page written SOA for the last 20 years. Anyhow I persevered and after some research came across Planimate, and whilst still early days I have been very pleasantly surprised by the quality of video and especially the client reaction to the different style of delivery. Let’s face it, written SOA’s are boring and few clients take the time to read them, whereas a short 5-7min video is far more appealing. My preference is to either deliver the SOA video face to face or via video conference so that I can stop, start or repeat sections as we go. I can then also add any other relevant documents at the end of the presentation to ensure all compliance checks and balances are completed

Planimate has been an eye-opener. It not only provides a simple explanation of what is normally a phone book’s worth of reading, but their videos are fun and engaging. It's a great innovation, especially for a licensee trying to make advice clear and concise.
